About the festival
Embarking on a journey beyond the virtual realm of online innovation that defined global festivals during the pandemic, we are thrilled to unveil "Maya - A Destination Dance Festival." This celebration of womanhood, gracefully hosted by the Junkeri Oriental Dance School, will take place from March 8th to 10th, 2024.
Prepare to be captivated by over 20 hours of unparalleled training sessions led by distinguished international luminaries from Hungary and Egypt, setting a new standard for artistic enrichment.
As the sun sets on each day, the festival will come alive with the mesmerizing melodies of three accomplished Egyptian Musicians, who will not only perform but also share their wisdom through insightful lectures.
Envisioned as a convergence of over 100 passionate individuals, ‘Maya’ promises to be an immersion into the vibrant tapestry of art and culture.
Beyond the enriching training, anticipate a line of events including riveting performances, exhilarating competitions, an opulent Grand Gala Night, immersive bazaars, and much more.
Our previous festivals saw about 200 students come together to learn, celebrate and empower the artist in them and add value to studying dance and movement with a global faculty line up of Bellydance superstars.
